Here’s one of my favorite mail-order resources. It’s here that you can get some of the healthiest fish in the world. Not, one, but three of the healthiest fish you can eat.
Omega-3 fatty acids from certain fish are one of the healthiest fats you can eat- for brain health and heart health as well as for the anti-inflammatory effects they provide. Three fish that have the most potent amounts of anti-aging omega-3′s are; wild caught salmon, sardines, and mackerel. And you don’t have to live in Alaska to get them. You can get them all shipped right to your doorway…fresh!
1. Wild Caught Salmon
2. Wild Caught Portuguese Mackerel
3. Wild Caught Sardines
Vital Choice premium Portuguese Mackerel comes from a local family that been picking and packing the finest fish for more than 100 years. They select the fattiest, tastiest mackerel and process and cook with the care needed to to ensure fine flavor and texture.
*NOTE: Unlike King Mackerel, which pregnant and nursing women are advised to avoid, Vital Choice’s Atlantic “chub” Mackerel (Scomber colias) presents no safety concerns, as it is an entirely different species with very low levels of mercury.
These are world’s finest omega-3 rich sardines.
They custom-harvest them when levels of omega-3s and flavor reach their peak.
There you have it, three of the world’s healthiest fish you can eat.
We keep trying to add fish into our meals but every week we forget or can’t think of ways to cook it, this list gives me some great ideas- thanks!!!
Fish is really vital in our diet. I’ve been a fish advocate but it is only now that i know about these 3 healthiest of fish. Thank you for the information. Hope you will write more about good food and not just chiropractic.
I love writing about other things than just chiropractic Elen (chiropractic gets boring sometimes huh?) LOL. Thank for stopping by!!
The photo above makes me hungry. I love salmon! I haven’t tried the Portuguese Mackerel yet so I have to try this soon. It’s good to know that we can benefit a lot by eating the right kind of food especially fish. I like to serve fish meals to my kids.
